NBA Betting Predictions June 21st. NBA Finals!
My 2012 playoff record stands at 20-18 after the Heat took a 3 to 1 series advantage.
My season record to date now sits at (75-85) for -16.40 units.
Oklahoma City Thunder @ Miami Heat
Its weird when we think back to before this series began, people were expressing some very different feelings about the teams involved. At the start everybody was picking the Thunder as the favourites, but now the Thunder would have to defy all statistical odds to win the finals. With James Harden completely losing his mojo and James and Wade playing incredibly well I actually think the Heat close out the game tonight. The Thunder will put up another valiant effort, but it simply won’t be enough. In game 5s after a series is at 3 and 1 the series has been finished an astounding 30 out of 30 times. Since the ABA merger, not only has no team come back from a 3-1 deficit, no team has ever even won game 5 extending the series to 6 games. I’m not saying its impossible for the Thunder to win tonight, but it certainly does seem unlikely. Especially with the Heat’s role players (Battier, Cole especially) stepping up in this series.
